Cross-linked expanded polyethylene not only makes our range of tatami mats lightweight, it also lends stability to the product. The bonding process which the mats undergo during production stabilises the material’s properties, ensuring it is optimised for its various different intended uses.

Expanded polyethylene
Our tatami mats are made with a cross-linked expanded polyethylene, and we place particular emphasis on the fact that they:
- Guarantee optimal mechanical stability
- Offer a high level of shock absorption
- Ensure long-lasting resistance suitable for any setting
- Allow for quick and easy installation and removal, through the use of a specially designed interlocking system
Features
The key features of the ProGame Tatami by Trocellen range are:
- Density of the mats: our foams range from 35 to 100 kg/m3
- Thickness: the tatami mats range from 2 cm to 5cm
- Dimensions: 1000 x 1000mm or 2000 x 1000mm, depending on the discipline
- High-precision cutting: made with high-pressure water jet cutting technology
- Hot air lamination: during production, the hot air lamination process allows two or more layers to be bonded together, offering greater resistance and proven dimensional stability
